Client: Finn Communications
In late December 2016 Finn Communications got in touch with us to create an animation for the 2017 rebrand of breakfast cereal 'Honey Monster Puffs'.
With a recent packaging redesign by Studio Robot Food already completed and under wraps, Finn wanted a film to reflect the lighter sugar content, more 'natural' approach increasingly seen within the cereal market, with our only limitation to use Honey Monsters head already created for the packaging.
With creative freedom to concept, script and direct a 60 second animation our subsequent film, 'The Making of Honey Monster Puffs’ follows Honey Monster through various elaborate, convoluted and humorous ways of selectingthe grains of wheat, puffing them, adding a 'dash' of honey to them, all the way to the 'finale' of breakfast bowl.
This is the first time that Honey Monster has been illustrated and animated so we chose a hand-drawn approach to maintain the new illustrated look. We combined the drawn animation of the character with some simple 3D props which gave the world a greater sense of depth and complexity and finished it with bespoke music track by Justin Jones and sound design by Simon Keep at Holkham Sound.
We created these short animations for 72andSunny as part of an ongoing TV and Social Media campaign for Starbucks.
Client: National Geographic Studios
We created over 30 animated graphic sequences for Map Of Hell for National Geographic Channel. The show presented by Danny Trejo and directed by Julian Jones explores 3000 years of cultural perceptions of hell.

With technology company Healthy iO we created this animation to explain how their new Dip iO product will revolutionise urine testing. By harnessing the power of your smartphone and turning into a clinical grade scanning machine they will simplify the process for millions of people across the globe.
Clients: PBS / Nutopia
We created over 70 animated graphic sequences for the six-part series How We Got To Now. The show is presented by popular American science author Steven Johnson and explores the legacy of great ideas. Each hour-long episode explores a different theme - from cold to light, sound and glass - explaining the stories behind key developments in that field and their influence on modern products, sciences and technologies. A co-production between PBS and Nutopia broadcast on PBS & BBC.

Client: Bill and Ben Productions
We were one of fourteen animation studios that directed sections of the feature length stereoscopic 3D film based on the memoir of Monty Python's Graham Chapman.
Our section is perhaps one of the only truly autobiographical sections in which Graham's dad collected body parts after a plane crash during the Second World War and is voiced by Graham Chapman, Terry Jones and Michael Palin.
A collaboration with Trunk Animation, this short film 'The Quintessential 5-Star Guest' follows Stanley Ledbetter III as he engages with the 'Hotel Water' initiative, an important new approach to helping the world's water crisis.
